Yoga

Yoga is compulsory in the AVM Group of Schools with a period every week in every class. Students have a special yoga uniform. Pranayama exercises are performed during the Assembly, before exams and Yoga day celebrations with other asanas at regular intervals. International Yoga day is celebrated with great pomp and show and many yoga asana competitions are participated in by the students. The Inter AVM Athletic meet has a Yoga display wherein children wear colourful uniforms to make the display look attractive.
