Vasudev C. Wadhwa Arya Vidya Mandir proudly announces the achievement of Miss Kavya Karanth of Grade VII-B at the ASISC U G Reddy Memorial Story Telling Competition, a part of the annual ASISC National Literary Events. In this prestigious competition held at Rassaz International School, Mira Road, on 1st August 2026, Kavya bagged the Third position out of participants from all ISCE schools in Mumbai region. 

This remarkable achievement shows both Kavya’s creativity as well as her talent, as she had to pen the story herself. Her confidence and narration kept the judges and audience spellbound. Her voice modulation, intonation, expression, language clarity and pronunciation enchanted the listeners. 

Through her story titled “The Brawn and the Brain”, Kavya tried to reiterate that “when mind and might work in harmony, no enemy is too big to defeat”.

When asked by the organizers for feedback on the event, Kavya appreciated the well-planned and well-managed event, while emphasizing the importance of such competitions to boost the confidence of the students and encourage them to move out of their comfort zone and speak in front of unknown people in an unknown place.
