Passport to the World – A Visit to England
“The more we explore, the more we discover!”
As part of the Passport to the World initiative, our little explorers from Early Trail embarked on a virtual journey to England, discovering its flag, culture, national symbols, famous landmarks, traditional food, clothing and language.
The session was brought to life through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. They created Big Ben through an art-and-sticking activity and also built it using blocks. They explored patterns, made the flag of England using red paper strips on a white sheet and formed the letters E and L with candy sticks. They also enjoyed a pretend play, delightful tea party and counted London buses, matching each set to the correct number using pegs. Through these joyful, experiential activities, the children developed their creativity, numeracy, fine motor skills and cultural awareness, making their journey to England a memorable learning adventure!
